Friday evenings and Saturdays fill up. Book first.
This note exists to avoid a conversation I have too often on Saturday afternoons: a group turns up at the door with no booking, the arena is full, and they leave without playing. It bothers me every time. So here is how it works.
Our busiest times are Friday evening and Saturday. The main reason is birthday parties. A party takes the arena for 10 players, and on Saturdays they run one after the other. Between one party and the next there is little room for a group that arrives unannounced.
The fix is simple: book first. Through the form on this site, on WhatsApp or by phone. We do not need much. How many people, which game (the 20-minute single, the 45-minute double mission or the 60-minute group battle) and the day you prefer. We reply with the time we have.
We do not do reservations with packages or membership cards. You book a game and that is it. The booking is only there to make sure that when you arrive there is a vest and a gun for everyone and time in the arena.
If you have the choice, come on a weekday. We are open every day from 08:00 to 22:00, and Monday to Thursday there is nearly always room, even for a group of colleagues who decide at the last minute. It is also when we can stretch a game if the group asks for more time, which on a Saturday is rarely possible.
For birthday parties the warning is stronger. Saturdays go first. If you want a specific date for your child's birthday, tell us well ahead. The package is for 10 players, and count on the parents wanting to play too, because that happens nearly every time.
For companies, the half-day team building for 12 people usually fits well on a weekday, which is when the arena is quietest and when offices can actually get out.
One last thing, mainly for visitors who are only in Portugal for a few days: if you booked and your plans change, let us know on WhatsApp. On a Saturday there is always another group waiting for that slot.
